There’s something wonderfully irreverent about turning a Jacques Offenbach overture into a light fitting. Known for his infectious, high-spirited compositions — the can-can, Orpheus in the Underworld — Offenbach’s music was made to be enjoyed, and this 78 record pendant carries that same spirit into your home.

All the records I use are interesting but not rare. I like to think I’ve kept the integrity of this 78, carrying out the least possible work on the record — it remains recognisably itself, just illuminated.

The light features an antique copper ES lampholder and comes complete with a retro 8 Watt Crown bronze LED bulb, an extra long 1.5m black PVC cable, and a black ceiling rose with copper cord grip and fixings.
