An icon of Sixties design. This Ringline pendant was designed by Paul Boissevain for Merchant Adventurers in the 1960s — nine interlocking rings of rich dark orange plastic that create a mesmerising light-ring effect when lit. Original and beautifully characterful, complete with a white fabric cable and matching ceiling rose. A statement piece for any mid-century or retro interior. Dimensions: 29cm wide, 21cm high, with 90cm of cable.

A rare survivor. Designed by Paul Boissevain for Merchant Adventurers in the 1960s, this Ringline pendant came from a consignment of new old stock — never used, and beautifully preserved. Its nine interlocking rings of high-quality dark orange plastic cast a distinctive light-ring glow when lit. A more compact version of the classic, complete with white fabric cable and matching ceiling rose. Dimensions: 15cm wide, 21cm high, with 90cm of cable.

1950s–1960s Mid-Century Artist's Palette Ceiling Light — White Glass with Coloured Dots

1950s-1960s Mid-Century extra large white artist's palette shaped ceiling light with coloured dots

One of the most unusual pieces to pass through our hands. This extra large artist's palette-shaped shade — almost certainly produced by Napako in Czechoslovakia during the 1950s–60s — is a genuine rarity, with real impact both lit and unlit. Its clever fitting throws light both up and down, restored with a new chrome suspended arm and three-bulb lampholder, supplied with warm white LED candle bulbs. In original reclaimed condition with barely a sign of wear, and PAT tested. Dimensions: 57cm x 47cm, hanging 30cm from the ceiling.

Produced by Napako in Czechoslovakia during the 1950s–60s, these glass shades combine swirling gold lines with yellow and grey crosshatching — striking both lit and unlit. Each was restored with a new chrome suspended arm and three-bulb lampholder, supplied with warm white LED candle bulbs, and PAT tested. Their fittings throw light both up and down for a wonderful ambient effect. In original reclaimed condition with barely a sign of wear. Dimensions: 50cm x 48cm, hanging 30cm from the ceiling.

Restored with a new chrome suspended arm and three-bulb lampholder, supplied with warm white LED candle bulbs, and PAT tested. Its fitting throws light both up and down for a wonderful ambient effect. In original reclaimed condition with barely a sign of wear. Dimensions: 70cm x 58cm, hanging 30cm from the ceiling.
