In 1998, Apple changed the way the world thought about computers. The iMac G4 — with its iconic floating screen, sculpted dome base, and that unmistakable curly cable — became one of the most recognisable objects of the early 21st century. Now it's been given a second act.
The base has been carefully transformed into a fully functioning desk lamp, with a beautifully curved reflector that echoes the arc of the original form. The original tilting and rotating mechanism is fully intact — so you can angle the light exactly where you need it, just as you once angled the screen. The curly cable remains, a knowing nod to the design that made this machine famous.
It's a lamp that earns its place in any home office, studio, or creative workspace — not just as a light source, but as a piece of design history that still has something to say.
