'Mirror Mirror' — Nikon Camera Table Lamp & Desk Light
The name 'Mirror Mirror' comes from the optics of the reflex lens itself — incoming light is reflected twice across mirrored surfaces, allowing for a shorter lens with exceptional magnification. This is the first camera light in the collection produced without an external reflector, and the impressive reflex lens more than compensates.
The Nikon FG20 was introduced to an eager audience in 1984. This example is paired with a Nikkor 500mm reflex lens of 1970s vintage — a beautiful piece of engineering, now reimagined as a statement desk light. Light passes through the wide reflex lens to produce a soft, warm spotlight effect, almost like a projector.

Adjusting & fitting
The chrome tripod is fully adjustable — a height of 67cm is suggested. To change the LED bulb, press the black button on the right side of the lens and twist anticlockwise — though with an average bulb life of 25,000 hours, you're unlikely to need to.
Each 'Mirror Mirror' lamp comes with its own unique numbered tag.
