'Light Wave' Hairdryer Table lamp
From a hairdressing salon to a room in your home, the 'Light Wave' Hairdryer table lamp is an inspired choice. The challenge was to create a table lamp that lives up to the vintage look and feel of this Ormond design.
The bakelite ‘Ormond' electric handheld hairdryer was made in England by the Ormond Engineering Company Ltd. between 1935 and 1955. I have set the dryer on a heavy black bakelite base with large brass dome nuts and rubber feet.
The dimmer switch (easily located at night time with the small red led) can be used to give a soft orange glow from the beautifully structured vintage squirrel 60w bulb.
The 'Light Wave' Hairdryer Table Lamp has its own unique numbered tag.
Comes complete with a vintage 60 Watt Squirrel bulb
